Planned Spontaneity

Modern logic elevates paradox to the forefront of thought. The site Twelve Tribes Ex has a great example about a new age cult uses paradox to attract members.

According to this site, the cult using a 'carefully designed 'planned spontaneity,' they draw college students into the community with a false sense of security.'

I can see why planned spontaneity would be seductive. When one puts a false face on a system of belief, they appear to be deep.

I think the best way to protect our children from the abuses of the modern world is to teach the students a little bit of classical logic with hopes that they can unmask con games like this before getting sucked in.
