The approach is all about communication, and nothing to do with behaviorism.

There are some supporting tools which turn examples into automated tests, and this is what Kevin Dishman has criticised. But I am realizing that these issues (Such as gun control) are soon going to be my responsibility to discuss them as well. I do agree that the situation defiantly could have been handled better.

An officers jog is to "Protect and Serve" and as a civilian, I want to know that I am going to be protected by these policemen. If these policemen are letting their pride get in the way of the things they were trained to do then why in the world is there training, protocol, laws, and many more things that police have to go through. if such things did not matter and police officers could do whatever they want, we would live in anarchy.

However, I am not saying that the Officer Wilson should not get medals for doing his job and catching the "bad guy." I am simply saying that the situation should have been handled differently.

In my opinion, there is NO reason that an officers pride should get in the way of doing his job properly. Pride offers the appeal that you are better than the other person. Police officers are NOT better than other people and they do NOT live above the law. Like I said above, Police are supposed to Protect and Serve. Those two words go hand in hand, they should serve as much as they protect and vice versa.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11248389174362383289noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5090403.post-4336158258138289362014-11-20T04:29:06.808-07:002014-11-20T04:29:06.808-07:00i like it thanks for sharing it.i like it thanks for sharing it.humorhttp://www.funvideobox.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5090403.post-85978755567377378682014-10-22T16:29:16.133-06:002014-10-22T16:29:16.133-06:00I just heard about it this week! War, after all, destroys one's assets and creates risk.

It is rare to have wars between nations with robust trade. There have been studies on this, but I don't have time to look them up.

There is more truth to the statement that war is about power. Of course that statement is a tautology because the people fighting a war either gain or lose power.

The statement that people seeking to gain power through war often use religion is true and I've written blog posts on that.

There have been cases where religions have used war to advance their influence. This was especially true in the colonial era.

It is more common to see power mongers using religion to advance war than to see religions encouraging the state to go to war.y-intercepthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03389285761013186443noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5090403.post-41694663962798374732014-10-15T18:52:08.184-06:002014-10-15T18:52:08.184-06:00Yes, I disapprove of people shooting guns across p...Yes, I disapprove of people shooting guns across public roads and trails. IMHO, the LDS Church should resist.

This issue touches on a second problem. What should one do when a group is so powerful that it dictates state policy. Even worse, what should one do when there is a group that is so powerful that it is able to lock people out of civic debate.

In my case, for the last six years I've been wanting to attend or host a meeting about free market health care reform.

Powerful members of the LDS Church (including Harry Reid, Mitt Romney and Mike Leavitt) are heavily invested in the health exchanges and use the weight of the church to shut down debate.

I am not LDS, I accept that Utah is run by the LDS Church and that people like me are simply locked out. The structure of such a closed society means that important social issues like free market health care reform can never discussed.

BTW, I suspect that the silencing of bloggers goes way deeper than the "Ordain Women" site which is the first to publicly stand against their excommunication. Judging from the large number of LDS blogs which have gone silent through the years, I think most people do just submit.y-intercepthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03389285761013186443noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5090403.post-43813768459009595862014-06-23T23:13:26.577-06:002014-06-23T23:13:26.577-06:00When you belong to a church, it may
